As I live in the UK, it would make sense for me to buy the wheelchair and drill in the UK - and just get your components shipped out.

Do you plan to make your components easy to fit to this chair?

Or does it take special tools?

I would love to know more.

Hi,

I love you people for coming up with this!!

I would love to get my hands on it - it is just what I'm looking for. Other power add-ons I've seen are either too expensive or are controlled by the person pushing the chair.

So guys, when and how much?

Hugs

This is amazing-I have been in a wheelchair for over 10 years now due to an injury. i use a manual chair because it is easier to manuever--the problem is my shoulders are giving out. please let me know when this product would be available and what the price might be.

thanks so much

JD,

I have had experience using both the 18 volt and the 36 volt. Do not underestimate the 18 Volt, when it comes to power and speed. It turns a couple hundred more RPM's than the 36. While the 36 Volt probably has a little more torque, we noticed that it has an overload disengage circuit. If you squeeze the throttle fully from a dead start, the drill kicks out, until you re-trigger. I think this is because Dewalt designed it that way to protect a user against a twisted wrist, if a drill bit were to catch. The real benefit of the 36 is the battery life is longer, due to the physical size. That is my opinion. DPX is happy that either of the drills work well!

He's using a 18 volt drill! Just think what you could lift with a 36 volt drill! Do they sell these at any Bass Pro stores yet? I'd like to get one all camo'ed out for deer hunting.
